Basketball shooting, exactly
Hold F to start the shooting motion, watch the shot meter fill, and release F to shoot. Bright green is the perfect release and scores unless the shot is blocked; anything outside it drops your chance, and a defender close to you in an active defensive stance drops it further. Dribble moves — between-the-legs and behind-the-back — exist to create that separation.

Skins are rerolled with the same currency as fighting styles, across two published tiers.

Known issue: Skating on mobile is bugged: mobile players cannot push, ollie or dismount. The wiki lists a fix as planned but not shipped.
Gangs and factions
Worth stating plainly because it comes up constantly: the faction system is not in the game. The developers' own board marks Affiliation as "not implemented" and Factions as "NOT AVAILABLE YET". Every crew, gang and turf war in Gakuran right now is player-organised roleplay with no mechanical support behind it — no stats, no territory, no rewards.
