The Gakuran Phone

The phone is the hub for almost every non-combat system in Gakuran: money, jobs, music, the server-wide message board and eight playable retro games. Other players can physically see your screen when you have it out.

Getting a job and earning Yen

Open Indeed and apply for a shift: cashier at Gakumart or a spot on the school newspaper. Wages land in Yenapp, which shows your balance, your searchable wallet tag and a full transaction history. Yen buys drinks and food from the vending machines around the school and the streets, and consumables at the Gakumart register. Yenapp also sends and requests money from other players directly, so trades between students settle through the phone rather than in person.

The eight phone minigames

Tetris, Connect Four, Jumper and a reaction timer were the most recent additions, alongside a redesigned game launcher.

Headphones and private music

Headphones are a head accessory with a 17% roll chance, and they are not just cosmetic: pair them with the music app and your character listens privately while walking around instead of broadcasting. Details on the accessories page, track list on the music page.
